| Shortcuts is the best IMO BUT - the last few versions are 'buggy' especially when on a network. We have 3 stations in one salon and it's a little trying some days. I have never seriously tried the other systems - but i wish someone would build a Mac-based system (if you knew me you'd know i am a complete AppleHead LOL)

| Make it a web 2.0 solution (web based) and i'd buy it!

| POS for Hair Salons As an administrative assistant, Shortcuts is a fantastic system to use. Simple and easy to navigate. With plently of available modifications, product management is easy. However, i look forward to a web based POS/Product Management system to be implemented in the near future. |

| Hi all im very fresh at this so hope this works! has anyone used small biz and knows how it is cause i find shortcuts service really hard to deal with and have all the equipment on lease i know dumb move but when its up i was thinking about changing i find shortcuts expensive for there level of support and service.... |
| ||||
| Hi Lisa, yeah not a good move to lease the hardware. Maybe get your own when you finish the lease. We lease the software. It works for us that way taxwise rather than buying (don't do that folks). Also it means we get Surebiz support included. It's expensive - yes. But it is the best. If you can start to learn the program well you'll really see the difference in your bottom line profits. One neat trick we do is to keep the manual around the house somewhere. Once a week I pick it up. find a section that i don't know how to do. And learn it. It takes a while byt by learning and mastering only 1 task per week (eg, stock ordering & receiving) i have eventually mastered the whole program without becoming overwhelmed. Post any Shortcut questions here.
