You still need to buy a computer but a $600 system would run it fine.
There are no reps here as far as I know I purchased mine online, downloaded it immediately and started using it.

Within a week I had an original disk arrive in the mail. Time difference makes it a pain to call the USA but I did have a serial number problem, and they responded to my email within 4 hours.

So far it has run without a glitch. I must say I am biased though I used Salon Iris in my last salon for 2 years, prior to opening this one.

You can find out more about it here:

Salon Software, Salon Iris Software, Spa Software, Tanning Salon Software, Salon Iris

Like Murray said might not be as fancy as some of the others but price is unbeatable. And it does everything I need in the salon, and more than I can be bothered using it really is feature packed, and every update is an improvement, not just a cosmetic thing, and your purchase price covers you for updates for the whole 2 years.

P.S. The do seem to have someone here in Australia try this:

Contact Salon Iris Salon Software Sales

We have had Iris for 3 years in one salon some how we coppied it (computer shop next door to salon) and installed it to computer in second salon never had any problems AT ALL!!.......Short cuts keep harrasing us trying to get $8,000 + out of us telling us that Iris is crap, but I cant see us changing any time soon, I know of many salons using Iris and all swear by it..........I dont have money to waste on fancy programs, that can be got at a fraction of the price!
