Kerastas price increase

Just a bit disapointed that kerastas has raised its prices. Example, lat vital protein care has gone from 29.95 to $34. I think this is a huge jump in 1 go. Im not really sure how this will go down with the clients when the formula is the same just a slight change in the packaging. I can understand 6 monthly small increaces but this is over the top. Where is kerastas going with this?

yah i agree, don't know that the new packaging is worth an extra $5 on average on each product, finding my clients are looking for alternatives.

Just to play devil's advocate...
Keratase is the premium pro brandright now, so you get what you pay for. Plus their advertising is hot, heavy & consistant. My clients know & want the brand befire they come to the salon. It really sells itself.
Is 2 price hikes this year 1 too many? Yes maybe. But the sales will be the telling factor at the end of the day. So let's just wait and see.
