Hair Straighter

Ok my girlfriend is looking for a new hair straighter and she was going to go for a GHD as it is the top of the range and thought that it was the best out there. We went into Hairhouse Warehouse and the guy in there recommended a NHD, he said although they were cheaper he used them and felt that they were just as good, any thought which one should she go for and why? Thanks

It really interesting.. GHD have been the best for so long because none other used their technology as it had copy right. Their copy right or what ever is now up so the industry is now being flooded by other brands claiming to be just as good.

We bought into the salon the Sako irons.. they seem to get pretty much the same result as far as i can see but we will just have to wait & see if they hold up as well..

what do the wrest of you guys think??

We now sell the Sako irons they have the SAME!! plates and heater as GHD they are supplied by the same company that supply GhD with the electronic componants!!!!!!......our girls stopped useing the GHD's as they found the Sako easier to use, the body is slightly less bulky.
The Sako warranty is brilliant any repair wont cost more than $35. if it cant be repaired then you get a discount off a new one, if you drop it and it breaks in the 12 mths you get a replacement (no questions asked) and they are the only company that is licenced will to repair GHD as the internals are repaired with the same parts, we found if our GHD stopped working Jammella aust (GHD) didnt want to know about repairing it the would want you to buy another one
and at there prices ..not likley .

Seriously I dont think the girls have touched the GHD in 6 mths.

Also our local Hair house warehouse do sell GHD, also the NHD since they are the same company that make them.

Yeah this Hairhouse Warehouse also sold GHD Straighters, but the guy was saying that people tend to buy them for the name. He recommended the NHD and I think it may have also suggested the Sako and was saying that if something went wrong with the GHD you need to contact GHD directly whereas with the others you can go back to Hairhouse Warehouse.

i have a mark 4 GHD and it is simply the best in the business and always will be, we sell a cheaper copy of the GHD made by wahl and there pretty good but in the end every straightner thats comes out is just trying to match or beat what GHD created, just look at the names NHD, FHI they are all just copying GHD and not creating anything new to win over the market, which is how GHD got their name to begin with.
