DYENAMIC is on a distinguished road
We travel the same road, our stylists are the doctors of hair and it is up to them to let the client know when there next apointment is.eg end of service whilst cape is still on, " So jill, I'm just going to make your next appointment for 5 weeks, so how does 10.30 on the 30 may sound" this way if they say I have an appointment on this day, you are free to work around a day in that week cycle.
It is imperitive that the client know's that to keep there hair in perfect shape that they do need to return in five weeks for their appointment....followed up with a reminder call the day before "Hi Jill it's so &so from such & such salon just confirming you appointment for 10.30 tomorrow, can't wait to see you again"

.... Tip of the day from me....
Never assume the client want's the same colour as last time!
We alway's do the tell me about your hair routine...the 10 aspects you like about your hair against what you dont like, also their lifestyle ( outdoors person, professional business person, punk rocker..you get the picture..) and help them choose another style, colour, foils etc. We have so many clients come from other salons saying I usualy get 8nn foil's with a such & such, that's what they have been doing for the last 2 years and you can tell it's totaly wrong for them, useualy every new client has a complete change and are totaly rapped with the finished result.

we operate on $68. an hour per stylist, short hair semi is from $90. ladies cut is $25. but we are workking towards $32.00 there are a lot of hair dressers on the Central coast(where our Toukley salon is there are 14 within walking distance) so the idea is to have prices set above the cheapie budget salons, to show we are a more professional more boutique end salon with out prices being to high that we drive clients away to the cheapie ones) but we have implemented 6 monthly price increase. Our last increase we lifted $10.00 to $17.00 across our colour service hair cuts lifted $3.00 etc. but the funny thing is every time we increase prices our client turnover increases with out 1 complaint.
Our Sydney clients are happy to hand over $350. with out blinking.
I just wish the CentralCoast people were so liberal with their money, but they are getting better.

....What price structure do you work on ?

It's interesting to think of what the service cost is per minute!

We put our prices up recently and so far, no complaints. We are all about the little details that make a visit really special and our clients really like the atmosphere so we haven't lost anyone yet

Yeah service costs are a formula that needs to be adhered to...

Business tip of the day - Buy a calculator and learn to use it
Tomorrows tip will be - do your formulas, or loss it
